Twitch streamer Maica (@maicamochi) commissioned me to design a set of GIFs that would be used to welcome viewers to her streams and thank them for watching. She requested that these GIFs feature a train passing by in a city and match her personal branding, which relies heavily on pastel, Lo-Fi aesthetics.
Because Maica's streams are partially in Japanese, she also requested that the signs and scenery be based on Japanese urban areas. I chose for the set to be inspired by the beginning and ending of a day in a city and selected color palettes to reflect these times of day.
