This is a type specimen created for a randomly assigned typeface. I was given the typeface Mrs. Eaves and created my type specimen based on antique poetry books, due to the delicate nature of the typeface and frequent usage of it for book covers. I created patterns using the glyphs and ligatures and referenced that the typeface is named after the mistress of the typeface designer John Baskerville, using love letter elements like a wax seal.
